An anti-apartheid Dr walter Sisulu,born in 1912, The year The ANC was founded has died,days before he was to turn 91.Sisulu was a veteran of the struggle against White rule in south Africa and a long time friend of Nelson Mandela.Sisulu rose to become a major figure in Mandela's African national Congress."You, Walter,are indeed like a miracle that God has made"said the Current South African President Thabo Mbeki last Year May during Sisulu's 90th birthday. walter Sisulu helped Nelson Mandela and Oliver Thambo lead the African National Congress during South Africa's turbulant and dangerous times of Apartheid. Sisulu was married to nontsikelelo Albertina sisulu.I am asking you to pray for the Sisulu family during their time of breavement and Giving thanks to The Prelate of the 19th Episcopal District Bishop Richardson for the pivotal role he played in comforting the Sisulu family,south africans and all comrades who have been in the struggle for liberation with the late Dr Walter Sisulu.

Dr. Sisulu may not be a household name to many on this BB and throughout the US but his tireless and fruitful work in behalf of indigenous black self- determination and governance in SA speaks for itself.
