Michael...Like you, I was also raised JW. I married a man who was abusive in many ways. Three 3 years ago, after 23 years of m arriage, I left...taking nothing with me save my car, clothes, computer, and piano. In those 3 years I went to work for a weight loss company and am now a Regional Director in eastern North Carolina. I love my job and have had the good fortune to meet lots of interesting people. Currently, am dating a scientist (well known in his field) with Duke University. I would dearly love to be able to afford a distance education with American Academy of Nutrition, the only college offering an accredited distance associate's degree in human nutrition. From there, I hope to continue on with Thomas Edison Institute, Union Institute and Walden University...progressing from associate's to Ph.D. Would you be interested in assisting me financially in my endeavor?
