i'm a brown asian whose very conscious of her fair colour, i want to start swimming but people tell me the chlorine darkens the skin and you get outlines of your swimsuit on your skin if you swim for long. does swimming indoors help? honest help and advice would be really appreciated

Yeah from the sun. If you swim indoors, you won't get swim suit tan lines

well ive been a swimmer for 4 years and i swim indoors. swimming indoors does not make your skin darker at all. it actually makes mine get a lot lighter.

swimming in a chlorniated pool bleaches your skin. ive been swimming for 13 years of my life and indoor or outdoor pools, my skin has yet to remained tan or become tan easily if i am in the pool as a competitive swimmer. i am caucasion but my different team-mates and i have yet to be satisfied with our whiter skin tone because of swimming
