Hello, i am louis from holland. I am going next month to singapore. I wanna buy a digital camera with 2.0 megapixels or more. Can someone tell me what they cost in singapore? Otherwise i buy it in Holland.Thank you very much

I think for that camera around about S$399-599 (for 2 Megapixels). You can buy it in Sim Lim Square. There's a lot of camera shop, and u can bargain also. I hope u enjoy Singapore. Bye

Just returned from Singapore to Holland, and bought a Canon Powershot S45. Beautiful product. Very pleased. It is 4.0 megapixels. Indeed I went to Sim Lin Square. I bought it at DAI- ICHI PTE Ltd. It is located on the ground floor. Prices are very similar at all the stores, varying only 10-20 S$. BUT the prices are not what you will pay. You have to negotiate. They are fairly inflexible on the price of the camera, but you can go for extra's. The price in and of itself is already around 200 Euros less than in Holland. I bought the camera an extra battery (on advise from a colleague) and a 128Mb flashcard plus a case for the pricely sum of 635.50 Euros. As a frame of reference that was 1100 Sin$. Maybe if you take some serious time, and go by all the floors (cameras are on the first and second floor mostly, you might be able to knock some more off. There are of course cheaper cameras, but take out some time and read the reviews and you could do a lot worse that the Powershot S45. An amazing piece of technology. Hope it helps, Regards Rick.
