Rumor has it, he used a book for a pillow - a copy of Homer's Iliad, which eeryone agrees is a very hard book and would make a rather uncomfortable pillow. Other people say he only put the book under his pillow, but people say a lot of things.

He also kept his old tutor, Aristotle, well-supplied with frogs, bugs, bits of old yarn, and other oddments. Aristotle loved that sort of stuff. He wrote big, thick books about stuff like that.
