Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? 48 hrs to 10 days HEADS UP and WATCH YOUR SIX!

After watching this collection of misfits and ne'er-do-wells that inhabits this corner of Cyber-Space for 4 years, and watching what has been posted here over the last 48 hours I am about ready to post my OWN:

48 HOUR WARNING:::

Something Ugly is going down in the next 10 days, possibly as soon as 48 hours. It may be very obvious or not, but it most likely WILL have some sub-surface component.

Why do I say this?

I have watched this board for 4 years. When we get to fighting like we have almost gotten to right now, something ugly happens.

SOMEONE SOMEWHERE plays us like a violin. Gets us to fighting so we don't see whatever it is they are doing. Or don't see whatever it is they are afraid we will see.

So HEADS UP and WATCH YOUR SIX 'cause SOMETHING is coming down fairly SOON.

Sorry about the "Post-n-Run" action but Mrs Driver said "Dinner?" just as I posted. With her modified fast (since protein takes SO much longer to turn into energy than carbs) that means, put politely "RIGHT EFFING NOW" though she NEVER puts it that way.

This sort of thing used to happen ALL the time on the Greenspun board in 98 and 99. We'd get to snarling, clawing and chewing at each other about some thing or other and Poof there would be a little announcement or soemthing that would be GRAPHIC evidence that the PTB were taking the threat of UGLY at the rollover VERY seriously, and we'd nearly miss it. Or it would be spun away before we could share it with other people.

And I will grant you that I may have the time frame slightly in error, but i figgered I would at least blow the whistle, get everyone out of the pool for just a second so the families can count heads, and people could see where they were headed. And now that I HAVE hollered, whatever it was will slink off into its cave and I will be accused of crying "WOLF!"

Oh well.

SERIOUSLY folk. Keep a SOLID watch on BOTH your 6 and 12 and let someone else keep a watch on 3 and 9 because I THINK whatever it is is gonna come from somewhere between 12 and 3 or 12 and 9.

jgebo_- no problem. I have a SOLID UNBROKEN record on predictions. At least on the board. 0% This was not posted as a prediction but more a reading of the entrails of the board than anything else PLUS a litle niggling sense that the trip next week will be INTERESTING.

"Watch 6"

Consider that you stand at the center of a clock face and in front ofyou is the 12 o'clock position, Your Right is 3 o'clock, your back is 6 o'clock and your left is 9 o'clock.

OK I'm old enough that digital clock faces are still considered new clocks.
