Weight lifting and swimming

Are there any specific weight lifting routines that help my swimming? Do I need really heavy weights or more cable exercises or more repetition Please help!

if ur a sprinter then its better to use more weights with less reps

but if ur like me a ( distance swimmer ) then u should use more reps less weight
