When the well's dry, we know the worth of water. (Ben Franklin)

Boy ain't it the TRUTH! Actually our well is just fine (I think - with the rains we've been having this year,it's practically overflowing! And it's 445' deep!)

We finally managed to have it dug 2 years ago, but with every penny "pinching" for all it's worth, we only just managed to buy the pipe and other stuff last fall. This Spring - when my husband and I install the system - will mark our 10th year of hauling all our water!

Let me tell you - when you measure your water supply for your household, garden and animal needs in the number of gallon jugs on hand you learn to appreciate every single drop.

When we finally have indoor plumbing again, you will find me a very frugal user.

I am still of the opinin that those who pay 99 cents for a 16 ounce bottle of water were born with little or no sense !
