Pregnancy Question

I am about 4 months pregnant, with my fourth child. I was holding my one year old, his butt was kinda pressed on the side of my stomach, and I felt this very weird sensation, almost like a vibration right where he was resting. It was a pretty intense feeling. I never felt this before, has anyone else? I was a little concerned.

Answers

Probably just the four month old kicking his brother while he had the chance. (grin)

Suz, for me the fourth was one of MANY weird, different sensations. The whole axperience was different from the word go, and we were very blessed to make it to the hospital..she came very quick. Anyway, I think the more times our bods do that miracle, it gets a little tougher on us, not that it's bad, just different and a bit harder. Hope it goes well for you! Cara in OR

It could have been the baby or maybe a muscle spasm. If that was the only symptom, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I had four and each one was totally different. One question -- Could one year old have been passing gas? If that was what it felt like, only inside, relax. Good luck. God has blessed you.

Congrats! I have 7 weeks until due date of #6. I don't think it's anything to worry about. Most likely the baby moving. I have felt them sooner with each pregnancy. Mostly because you know what to expect. A lot of first time pregnant women pass these flutters off as something else, not realizing it is probably the baby moving. Enjoy & good luck!

probably just a movement of the baby-the other ladies are right as i'm sure you already know-every pregnancy is different-if you are still worried, ask the dr-but try not to stress over it-if everything else is going ok health wise, you are probably fine (so is little one) congratulations and best wishes!!!
