News on the Preparedness Fair in Mesquite

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

For those requesting details on the preparedness fair in Mesquite, Texas this weekend (Saturday, April 20th, and Sunday, April 21st), here is what I know about it. It is being held at the Bigtown Mall in Mesquite. That is a vacant shopping mall with a lot of floor space. The really nasty weather predicted for this weekend shouldn't be a problem once you get there.I don't know my way around that area, so I cannot give you good directions. We just asked our way once we got to Mesquite and didn't have a problem getting the proper directions. Getting in the door costs $5 for adults and children (17 and under, I think) are free. If you want to hear the whole program of speakers both days, the tickets are $30 or $40. Individual lectures are $5 each, I think. Saturday hours are 9AM to 8PM and Sunday is 9AM to 6PM. The producers are promicing a lot of vendors and good info. Hope yall can come out and see it.

I just found a website that will give you info and a better address for Big Town Mall. The site is: www.freeamerican.com. The host Clay Douglas is the orginizer for the fair. I hope this info helps you find your way there.
