Where can I get information about raising peafowl? I'm interested in the white ones and info about them is few and far-between.

Peafowl are an easy bird to take care of. We had them for years in our zone 4 climate. The first bird we bought was pure white and gorgeous. After that we bought blues. For a number of years we crossed the white peacock with the blue peahens but never got anything but blue birds. Must not be easy to do. You can buy white or a variety of others at http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/ but they're sold out for this year.

Good luck and enjoy!

I forgot to mention the book we used constantly was Peafowl Breeding and Management by Loyl Stromberg. I noticed while at the mcmurray page that they have it for $16.10 and Amazon doesn't have it at all. Go figure :)
