don't know about the neoxyn, but i do know that drinking goat milk from goats that had eaten poison ivy/oak will help prevent it. dd breaks out when she doesn't drink the milk, doesn't break out when she does. has helped a lot in the last 4 years!!

We use products from a company called Tecnu. Their product called Armour is great. You put it on before going out to pull the ivy and it protects any exposed skin. They also have a number of anti-ivy remedies. I am sure it is a national product - try your local pharmacy or big box department store.

You can also wash with rubbing alcohol after being exposed to remove any oils, as a last resort.

Just do NOT do the old folk remedy of eating small pieces of the plant. You will end in the hospital like a friend of mine who thought it was just a dandy idea. Every part of her digestive system was affected. Peace...

Mark, are you talking about killing the poison oak/ivy? or treating it? I sorta had a brain burp there. :) If killing it is your aim I am sorry I haven't heard of that product. I can tell you that Crossbow works great though. Hope that helps. And if treating it is your aim we use Fells Naptha soap, tepid water and follow up with any of the common treatments. Never have a problem if we do this promptly when coming in the house. Hope all is well, LQ
