Suggest you type 'Ophelia + Hamlet + Shakespeare' or something into an advanced search at www.google.com

Millais's paintaing from the 19th century, showing Ophelia with her garments buoying her up (her death), floating on the water. The painting, in fact, became the source for Laurence Olivier's textual alteration of 'Hamlet'. Both the paintaing along with the film evoke pity for Ophelia.

I came across this site while searching for a certain picture of ophelia floating. I didn't find the one I was looking for, but I found a lot of them at www.emory.edu/ENGLISH/classes/shakespeare_Illustrated/Ophelia.html

I myself have been searching for pictures of Ophelia. I have collected hundreds of them and have placed them in a Yahoo group.

one of them is Ophelias chamber and could be found at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Ophelias_Chamber

I actually ran out of space to store pictures and movie files in that group so I started another called Ophelias Pool that has hundreds of images based on Ophelias drowning. It can be found at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OpheliasPool

I had a website up a few years ago based on Ophelia but was forced to take it down and lost a lot of images of Ophelia in the proccess. I got most of them back and found a few more, but there are still a few out there that are no longer on the web that I am hoping someone has and will send me copies of. Feel free to download any pictures from my group.
