Who is DH???

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I'm sorry girls but I have to ask. Who is DH????? A lot of you seem to be married to him. I hope he is dear husband, and not dumb husband, or something worse! You know who you are. Just wondering.

ROFL! I'm one of those DH's ... take your pick :8). "Dear Husband" is the intended, I do believe (at least that's what my DW tells me -grin- )!

He-he-he, ;-)!!! It is one of those purposely ambiguous initials, dumb husband or dear husband, whichever is appropriate at the time, depending on what was done at the time, and your mood at the time!!!

What is LOL while we are asking about the forum shorthand?

LOL is laughing out loud (as you type).

"DH" in my dictionary is 'dedicated husband', 12 years and still not married!

Depending on the condition of the marriage, it can be your definition or Darling Husband or Dam* Husband! -LOL-

In my mental book, DH is "Dear Heart".

DH - the "D" doesn't always stand for 'Dear' you know!

Dork comes to mind most of the time actually.

In my case it means either "Dead Head" or "Drunk Husband", but he's mine whatever. For now at least.

Back in the good old bad old days of radio, one of the Sydney announcers used to run a character called Richard T.Cranium. Maybe it's short for that.
