Well I'm no expert but it seems as if the USA did take these words to heart. Free trade shares prosperity to the third world, the actions of the US (and allied) military to challenge terrorism shows teeth, and this board shows many people willing to forego a soft life/get rich quick existance. Real metle at least. Your Roosevelt Presidents do indeed impress.
