Recognition and Rewards, Teams in General : LUSENET : work teams : One Thread

Hello, I am a graduate student at University of Houston Clear Lake and presently studying group processes wherein we are looking indepth into teams. Would like to pose two Questions for consideration

1)Recognition and reward are an integral part of mutual accountability and team success. However, most recognition and reward systems focus on individual performance. How do you best reward systems that support mutual accoutability.

2)What process can you suggest to attract companies to accepting the entire "Team Model" rather than accepting that portion of the Team Model it prefers and rejecting what it does not deem or find useful to management. Example: Accepting the Team Model and implementing it but not giving the team decision making powers)
