Bee forum

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

A friend of mine stopped by yesterday and turned me on to a great forum about bees - www.beesource.com.

It's kinda like Countryside forum - lots of opposing views, etc. but great help with bees and problems.

Thought those of you who keep bees might like a look.

Bonnie, I just checked out the site recently. I think I got it from the archives. Isn't it great? We had bees along time ago but so much has changed. I'd like to start up with bees again this year. I've been trying to find a local group to join but haven't gotten a response to my e-mail yet. - Sheryl

I'm having trouble getting to the site. Something different comes up, is that the whole address?

Bonnie, THANK YOU! I needed another forum to suck the time out of my day, LOL! Seriously, I bookmarked the site, and think it will be a big help. I am down to one hive, having given one away to a friend to get her started last Fall; but have decided to buy a pkg this spring. Momma also needs a new suit--my old one is falling apart. I rarely use the whole thing, but it's nice to have.

lynelle I had the same problem getting to the site, it took me some time to figured it out. Check your url, if you are going to /www.beesource.com./ it will get you to the wrong site. the correct site is /www.beesource.com/ the diffence is minor but if you have a period after the .com it will send you to the wrong site.

Bonnie, thanks! That site looks like good fun! I spent this morning extracting honey and am in a bee mood!
