Thanks for all the help! Just wanted to let everyone know that after 8 days I am finally feeling a little stronger/almost well! The thing that seemed to be the "cure-all" were the tomatoes that I canned last year!! I heated them to a rolling boil and ate them slowly! It was the only thing that stayed in/down!After two meals of the tomatoes I was doing much better. And with in two days I am doing much better and still eating tomaotes but last night and this morning I added corn bread!! Thanks everyone!

Glad to hear you're feeling better. My son's three day "flu" was just diagnosed as a burst appendix! (Boy, do I feel stupid!)

The flu is really tough to get over; several of my co workers had it this past year. Antibiotics were almost as bad as the disease, but were able to finally beat it. Good news on your part, I hope you continue to progress with your recovery.

I am sorry to hear about your son's condition, mary, but am glad they were able to catch it; the same thing happened to our next door neighbors four year old daughter. It took two trips to the emergency room; they didn't test the first time, because they couldn't believe that something like this would happen to such a young child. Had to spend five days in the hospital, to be sure that meds would take care of any internal infections.

She made a speedy recovery, but was a LOUSY patient; she wanted to go outside. Be sure to bring plenty of interior type games / books for him / her. Good luck.

Guess I should read a little closer . . . sorry mary, you DID say it was your son. My apologies.
