People who compain about this forum

What no one has said in any of their complaining about this forum is something that is so simple and obvious--if you don't like it, GO ELSEWHERE. There are thousands of forums out there on that vast internet. It's not like you paid for it! Why waste your time complaining?

It seems like the complaining is slowing down. The last several posts are back on homesteading issues. We even have humor back!! It's nice to see. Best wishes everyone and like Debbie said, we don't want complainers here, go elsewhere if you want to cause trouble, we have better things to do.

Ditto!

Ditto, to all of the above! What's that old saying ? "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." Arguing only upsets everyone, and life is just to short to be upset all the time.

I think the old saying "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" about sums it up.Looking forward to 'your' board Chuck and thanks for taking over the job.

My kid's school has a huge sign posted in the lobby. It says "BEFORE YOU SPEAK, ASK YOURSELF: IS IT TRUE? IS IT KIND? IS IT NECESSARY?" I'd say that rule could apply here at the forum, too.

Let's just remember that this is not "Chuck's board". This is a community forum which existed for a long time before Chuck showed up here at all, and which will hopefully continue to exist for a long time regardless of who is acting as moderator.

It isn't necessary to blow out the other fellow's light in order to let your own light shine. "That there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another." I Corinthians 12:25

I'll second what Elizabeth said!

While I agree it is good to be polite, that doesn't mean we have to agree. We can just agree to disagree and do it like the Senators do on the floor when they are responding. I love a lively discussion and love to hear opposing views. It's a good way to learn. Enjoy the Spring!!!!! The Geese are back!!!!!! LQ

Yeah, and now lets quit complaining about the complainers.....
