Welcome, fellow Attendee!

You are receiving this email because Jim has added your email address to the recipients list of a new on-line discussion called "AUSA March 2002". This discussion is password-protected; the password is "hupajax" (no quotes, one word, all lowercase).

You'll find this discussion here: http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a-challenge.tcl?topic=AUSA%20March%202002

We will use this discussion to keep in touch with each other before, during and after the trip. This is a good place to post information of interest only to attendees. For instance, I've started another thread where I'd like everyone to post your flight information. And if we have a change-in-plans during the trip, we'll post it here. You will be able to access this discussion in the many "internet cafes" in Amsterdam. You won't NEED to do so, really, since you'll have my cellphone number and we're all staying in the same hotel. Still, it might prove useful.

If you have comments about the trip that are for general consumption, e.g. "We're having fun" "or "Feyenoord sure sucks eggs", you can do that at the PUBLIC discussion forum for the trip:

Just wanted to say how EXCITED I am about the prospect of getting the auld gang* back together again! Big Ben Bell (I can't remember his nickname from last year), Raymond van der Ngiau, Jimmy Floyd Hassebroek, Mystery Bob, Menno, Baggy and Yours Truly. It really feels like a gathering of old friends.

And it won't be long before Lillie, Andrew, Ernest and Jack have their own nicknames and are counted among this 'band of brothers' too. :-)

I am *really* ready now. Let's get this party started...

*less Misery Dave and Nappy Linda.

I think Ben's nickname was something like magic school bus or something...
