Limping Guineas

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

My guinea is limping. There are no visible injuries but does not want to put weight on one foot. She/he is in quarantine & recieving antibiotic (tetracycline, sp?)in the water. Is there a syndrome, I am not aware of, that produces this symptom? The bird does not seem to be thriving. She/he is the only remaining bird & usually lives with the chickens, the others fell to an owl & other assorted predators.
