CS magazine in stores??

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Hi,,I have been looking for a CountrySide magazine in stores for a few months,,without success. Can't fine,,not even in Barnes and Nobels. They were sent to stores awhile back and I was picking one up each time. Is that not the case again? Shucks!!! One of my blessings is missing,,so count your blessings and make sure they are all there,,:-),,,

Consider subscribing. It is considerably cheaper than retail sales, plus actually produces a bit of profit for Countryside to keep the publication running.

Yes please subscribe. I can tell you I look forward to each issue and keep them all for reference. I only lend them out to special friends.I have not found one that has not something useful in it.Bless yourself a little and subscribe. Terry

Best investment I ever made. Let's see, think I am on my 5th year or so....Reminds me, it's time to renew!

I've been a subscriber since '77 and have never regretted spending the money! I know that if I had depended on trying to find it at a newsstand every time, I probably would have missed out on a few issues!!

The March/April 2002 issue went to the printers on January 15th or so. The early receivers should get their issue around the 1st of next month.

"Oh, oh". I guess I better hurry and get my renewal back in the mail!

I would recommend subscription but I have seen them at Borders and good independent book stores.

I just started finding cs in stores in tulsa, ok, just last week. Maybe, there was delivery problems, as I couldn't find backwoods home either & now it is showing up as well.

Newsstand price: $23.70 for six issues.

Subscription price: $18.00 for six issues - savings of $5.70. $30.00 for twelve issues - savings of $17.40.

Plus, you are guaranteed not to miss an issue because someone beat you to the newsstand.

Tidbit: Dave said he figures they have only 3-4 seconds to capture someone attention at the newsstand with that issue's cover.
