Can you let me know where to purchase special camera for taking newborn photos. The special camera I'm looking for which I do not know the type/brand name has the features as follow:(1) a camera in the form of a boxlike attached to a bassinette; (2) the said camera is fully automatic and easy to use to take newborn pictures; (3) such camera is used to take newborn pictures at private hospital.

No, I do not know of one, has anyone come back to you with an answer? If they did, I too would be very much interested in it. We are working on a project now that involves newborn photography for hospital programs. We have developed an in-house print workstation that consists of a computer, touchscreen, camera and printer. This unit is self contained and uses a high quality dye-sub printer. It prints complete photo packages, including birth announcements with baby stats in about 10 mins. This would include a range of sizes from 6 x 9, 5 x 7, 3.5 x 2.5 and small wallet sizes. The application we developed for the photo station enables nurses or volunteers to run the complete program. The unit has a cradle to put the baby in, then everything is done through the touch screen, take pictures, print proof and once the order is authorized it will print the complete package.Cheers!
