WTB: Used Hand Crank Dough Maker - Stainless Steelgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
I would like to buy a used stainless steel hand crank dough maker (bucket looking type) in good condition at a reasonable price.I would also be interested in any sources for new ones that are not so expensive. Does anyone have any Amish or Mennonite store info (I assume this would be a good source).
It needs to be a sturdy/heavy duty design because young children will be working with it as well. If anyone has one they'd like to sell, please contact me.
Great Thanks, Susan

If I might jump in here-- I'd like one, too. I have priced them in Lehman's and they are too much IMHO. I read once in the TG that back east they can pick them up at rummage stores, yard sales, etc.. Never have I seen one out here! I have arthritis so I can't do repetive motions with my hands ( a type of migratory RA). If I am careful I do fine. Hate to buy a bread machine just to knead. So here's hoping we both find one!!

I bought one on ebay. Atlas brand. I later purchased a ravioli attachment on ebay to go with it. I've found they are also being sold as clay rollers. They are used with polymer clay for crafts.
