Anyone have Palm, Cactus or Tropical Plant seeds?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Does anyone have seeds for any palms, cactus, succulent, or indoor tropical plants? My DH wants to add to his collection of plants in "Cactus Land" (the plant porch). We have Angel Trumpet (datura) or castor bean seeds to trade. Thanks in advance!

Wow, this is strange...I was going to post something similar. I'm also looking for palm seeds, but to string for a beaded curtain. Any size will work, I will pay for them & shipping & handling. Cindy, I have in the past seen/bought a seed packet of cactus seeds from a rack, with other seeds in the spring. They were incredibly cute when they germinated! Good luck...

Hi! I gave a friend some unpitted dates for a treat and he saved the pits, planted them, and they sprouted! He gave me one and It is very fun; grows real slow though. :) Leslie

Not too many people save the seed here. These plants volunteer readily. Right now the mexican bird of paradise have seed pods, if that's anything you want. I think all the cactus and palm seed drop at the end of summer though. If you e-mail me a mailing address, I'll watch for them and send them along when I see them. Jill
