Does anyone know of a recipe for making walnut extract for baking? I have an overabundance of them this year and wanted to try my hand at it. Thanks!!

I know for vanilla you just split the beans and leave them for a month or so in some vodka, don't know why it wouldn't work for walnuts as well. By the way, dry off the vanilla beans and leave them in your sugar canister for a nice delicate flavor.

I just typed "walnut extract" into google and they have 32,300 entries about it, I will bet you can find a recipe there.
