Go to www.consumerreports.org and do a search on Rival. Should be in their system.

thank you for your help I bought the slicer at a thrift store about five years ago and it has really paid for it's self we have had the part fixed twice and would rather get a new part at this time as it is a safety issue. does anyone know who makes rival???

Ronda: I bought two of the screws yesterday in Colorado Springs, at the small appliance store there. They are metal, as opposed to the nylon or plastic one on my Rival Slicer, and the interior of the shaft of the screw is solid, not hollow like on my slicer. If that will work for you, email me directly, and I'll be glad to send you one. They ran $2 each. Jan
