PDA IR (infrared) Info. desired

Does any PDA user have knowledge and drivers to share regarding IR beaming between various devices with, perhaps different OS's such as Windows CE & Palm or Palm OS and Windows 95 or 98?

Dick,

I don't have any first-hand experience in this area, but I do find that questions such as this are good prospects for search engines such as Google.com. I plugged in the terms PDA and IR and found some interesting sites. In fact I just added two of them to the Links at the bottom of the MHCUG PDA page.

Haven't had personal experience with other OS's. I have beamed documents with Documents To Go from Palm to Palm. With Documents To Go no additonal software or drivers are needed. Sending from Palm to printer is a very slow process. The software generally comes with the printer.

The following site has software to beam back and forth from palm to CE.

http://palm.handango.com/ and search for Infrared

I can sync my Jornada Win CE with the Ir port on my Transnote Win 2000Pro with MS Active Sync 3.1
