Just wondering if anyone has read the articles in Backwoods Home Magazine about building your own log home. The article is in 3 parts: Issues 70, 71 and the current issue. Just wanted to get some opinions it before I invest in purchasing the back issues. Thanks! Stace

Thanks, I already checked out the 3rd part of the article on the web site. It's the first two parts, probably mostly the first one, that I'm really interested in. I assume getting the foundation and the main structure up are the hardest parts, or at least the parts that concern me the most. Just wondered what anyone else thought of that section of the article. I should probably just order them, but I'm afraid that I'll blow 10 bucks to read the first line and say "uh, uh - no way can we do that." Just wanted to get someone elses opinion first. Thanks!

I'm assuming since the 3rd part just came out in the last issue, the other parts would be in 2 previous issues.
