I need some bulk suppliers of wheat berries for grinding

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

Does anyone know of bulk suppliers for wheat berries besides Wheat Montana and Montana Milling(used to be Montana's Best)? I am looking to put in a large order for our coop and customer service for these two companies seems to be lacking.

I have always bought "feed" wheat at my local feed or CO-OP Farm store. I don't have any idea if it's soft or hard...red or white....but it makes good bread! $7.00 a 50 lb bag is hard to beat also. Not "organic" per say but wheat is generally chemically fertilized but not sprayed with herbicide.

I went to the Walton Feed site. What a neat place! Has anybody ordered from them? Opinions?

pc, before we pretty much got self sufficient I ordered all sorts of stuff from Walton's. All was decent, high quality stuff. I would always feel like I could recommend them. That was over five years ago though but I would think that they would still be decent.
