Turn on your a/c units at least 10 minutes per month, it keeps your seals wet, prevents seal leakage, their work in the comming spring if attended to now.

Mitch,I am not 100% sure but I kinda remember hearing that the temperature outside needs to be above freezing(for folks in freezing climates)any truth to that.

Most newer vehicles.....say after 1985.....will "turn on" the A/C when you use the defroster...even at a warm temperature. It helps remove the moisture from the interior air.....which is what your A/C actually does in the summer!
