Build an outside wood burner,hints?

Hi; I have no exp with outside woodburner although I have read that they tend to not burn very clean (smoke up the yard) when they are throttled down. I am becoming very interested in 'waste oil/Waste veggie oil' burners. Maybe you could look into adding that in your design.They appear to burn clean if you do it right.They appear to be very simple to build (expensive to buy). Ourfarm

In the workshop section of a Countryside back issue last year Steve and Jd built an outdoor oven for under $100. You could expand on that basic design with an exhaust flue, stone heat collection shell and fan driven diverter to construct a nice external, high efficiency heat system for minimal costs utilizing native stone.
