Help the thermal glass panel on our wood stove just broke. It is a Russo model 2 coal and wood stove,s/n 3379 We need to be able to reach the manfacturer where ever they are, or find a supplier of thermal glass. Any help would be welcome. I don't know that model of stove, but is it a round piece of glass you need? About 20 years ago some friends of mine had a woodstove that had a round window in front. The makers of the stove told my friends that they would be happy to send them a replacement window for X amount of money plus shipping...or they could buy a Pyrex glass pie pan at the grocery for about 3 bucks as that is what the window actually was. I've broken mine more than once, and have just taken the door to the local glass shop. They can order the special glass, altho he didn't like cutting it!!
