I will be installing the mama bear in a new addition of our home. The addition is 500 sq ft. My question is this, Is this mama bear overkill in a room this size, if so can I implement to existing house structure and finally what ventilation stack should be installed.

Hi, the Mama Bear might be overkill, but it will depend on how cold your winters are. If it gets too warm in that room, you can always open doors to other rooms and heat them, too.
