Can anyone help me find the correct size drive belt from motor to cutter base on a yardman transacle 11 hp 36 inch cutter? Also did anyone buy out yardman since I am unable to locate nothing on the web?

I found a lot of Yardman dealer sites when I did a search. Here's one which ought to be able to supply you with parts. I didn't know where you are located or I'd have tried to find one close to you. In any event, with credit cards and UPS nothing is very far away anymore.

I hope this helps.

If you have the old belt there are numbers on the outerside that tell via code the correct replacement, also there is different widths of belts, mowers take a catagory known as "implement" which is wider than automotive.

Forgot to mention my location is in North East Pennsylvania and the belt was lost and cannot get the numbers off of it and besides I cannot find any serial numbers on the machine no where.

The serial number is usually located on a rivited plate just under the seat or on the firewall next to the engine. If there is none, take exact measurements of the pullys diameters and distance apart, make a simple sckech, and take this to a large dealership. There are formulas for calculating these belts.

If there is no other find the belt size The simple way to do this is to take a rope and measure where the belt fits, cut the rope to exactly where the tension will be perfect you will need to note if your adjustment for tension in the motor area is all the way up or back, or inbetween... So that you have a piece of rope to take to the auto or hard ware store. This trick always works. One other note. if you measure wrong by one size it is acceptable to take a fan belt back providing that you just slide it out of the package, save the receipt!
