I needed a break but now I am back

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I needed to take some time off to get life organized{lol},but now I am back. I sure have missed everyone and just wanted to say thanks for all the private emails asking how we are doing. Well the twins turned 2 and sure are giving me a run for my money,#2 child just turned 4 and #1 is 5 so life is very busy. The stock is doing well {I think the pony we bought at auction is bred} thats a plus, our heifer is going to be bred this month and we are keeping our fingers crossed.

The sunroom turned into a whole 1st floor rehab which is going along {slow but steady} and we have yet to tackle the log cabins,we are now thinking of selling one of them to help off set the cost of putting one up,anyone want to buy one?

Well enough said just glad to be back and I'll try to be nice!

Hey there stranger, welcome back! We've missed ya. Sounds like you have been busy. I've always wanted to build a log cabin, but don't think I could fit it in this teeny back yard of mine! hee hee Keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be outa here soon. Kiss the kids for us, (can't believe the twins are 2)! Glad to see ya back, Renee.

Hi Renee, happy to see you back, boy, twin two year olds, now THAT would keep you running all day!!! But, look at all the help you'll have putting up hay in another 11 years or so, :-) !!! I bet you'll love your sunroom, it was worth the work for us too. Nice to be able to enjoy the sun even when it is 10 degrees outside, and watch all the bird activity at the feeders.

Hi Renee - WELCOME BACK!!! I think you'll find the forum a kinder and more gentle place - by design.

Welcome back! Yes, you'll find it quieter here and a lot more fun! What I enjoy is that is seems that everyone has learned to ignore the troublemakers. Poor things just spout out nonsense and no one answers! Isn't that great! God bless and I'm looking forward to your posts!

Hey renee, welcome back! I'll second the above thoughts about the forum being better now. It seems to have returned to its original focus, thankfully.
