CLUE TO CONDIT'S CLOSE SHAVE

FETISH enthusiasts are speculating on why chaps-loving Congressman Gary Condit shaved his entire body - just as another of the shamed lawmaker's former mistresses spills more about his kinky bedroom behavior.

According to lawyer Jim Robinson, who represents flight attendant Anne Marie Smith - Condit's alleged ex-lover - the scandal-scarred motorcycle aficionado "shaves his entire body hair."

Joey Heintz, who works at the Chelsea fetishwear boutique DV8, tells PAGE SIX that it is not uncommon for men who wear rubber and latex attire to shave their body hair.

"It's easier to get on if you're hairless," he says. The store sells "way more" rubberwear to men than women, "both straight and gay. It looks better if you are hairless. If you're hairy, it squooshes up." Clean-shaven, he says, "It's like a second layer of skin, particularly the transparent rubber. It makes you look like a superhero."

Concurs Samantha Hill, assistant manager at Demask, another Chelsea sex-clothing store, "Some rubber fetishists do [shave their body hair], but others actually like the feeling of hair getting caught in the rubber. A lot of men who shave their entire bodies are actually cross-dressers. You should look into that."

Both say that "powdering" one's body helps get the clothes on, with or without hair. "It's a sexual feeling because it's constrictive," adds Heintz. "If someone touches you when you're wearing latex, it sends a shockwave through your body."

Flight attendant Smith also reported through her lawyer that she once discovered "neckties tied together underneath the bed" in Condit's apartment, suggesting bizarre, kinky sex. In his interview with Connie Chung, Condit denied having had an affair with Smith.

A word of caution to Condit: DV8's Heintz warns, "You have to be careful with rubber. If you sit on something sharp, it can break. There goes your latex outfit. And then, you're exposed."

Meanwhile, former Condit flame Susie Borges Rossi bears up the rubberwear speculation by telling the National Enquirer in its Sept. 11 issue that Condit handcuffed and blindfolded her before they had sex using a "couple's kit" that he bought at a sex shop.

"When we did the whole handcuff and blindfold thing, it was soft stuff - not the serious S&M stuff I've read he's gotten into now," Rossi tells the tab.

"We continued seeing each other for a long time because I didn't want anything from him," she said of their three-year affair.

"I didn't want him to help me with my career, or leave his wife and marry me," she declares. "I was just fine with having fun."

I would imagine there is or will be a site where you can dress and make up Condit into most any outfit.

Oh BF, you hafta start one! Think of the revenue possibilities! Nair (as Carl has already mentioned), NAD (that annoying Australian infomercial crap), all kinds of razors, leather companies, tie manufacturers, watchmakers, on and on.

Maybe Carl should do it. I suspect that he will be the one to find it already out there. LOL
