Guide me to the music, citizens of rock and roll....

greenspun.com : LUSENET : I Really Love Music : One Thread

I have heard about The Music....

What else is there out in this (cue: Chief Wiggum voice) topsy turvey world of rock and roll that I am missing...

(PS. I think this is turning into a groovy little forum....feel free to ask questions....)

Answers

The Coral, The Soft Parade, Haven, and all that, apparently. All teenagers. I've only got a Soft Parade single meself so I can't really give you any pointers. The Music are managed by the blerk who manages Embrace, so who knows???

There is also a teen-toilet-circuit thingummy going down in Ireland, which is nice...

Hello Doompatrol.

Not really sure I like this forum, but in a spirit of helpfulness I thought I'd let you know (in response to your question on the Ladyfest thread on another forum) that the Legend! released at least five records: two on Creation ("'73 in '83", "The Legend! Destroys the Blues"), one single on Constrictor (never knew the title) and another couple of 12" singles on Vinyl Drip called "Everything's Coming Up Roses" and "Some Of Us Still Burn!".

Please don't take this as a recommendation because, while I haven't heard all of the above, I didn't like any of the ones I heard.

Hope that's helpful.
