Film Progress updates!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : No Extra Day : One Thread

Hey kids!

Do you like creamsicles? I've got a puppy in my car!

Oh, wait... sorry. What I meant to say was, Herr Director posted a hot buttery stack of film progress updates to the No Extra Day site. They're fresh, juicy, and ripe for the reading. So go now, and bask in the warm glow of NED!

Well, I have read the most recent group of updates- up to 9/20. The big question on my mind is when, and to what festivals are you going to send the finished cut to, and, very important, When are you going to be giving a screening to those brave people who have been following the trials and tribulations of your film for over two years now?!(hint:).

Frank, if I had my way we'd carpetbomb every damn festival on this earth with tapes and letters and pictures of our sweet asses until somewhere, some poor put-up festival head gave up the ghost and let us in to play.

I may get my way yet. But lemme drag Mike in here to get a bit more firm answer to your question (and I'll let him deal with the screening issue as well).

Okay Wendy, I got a very nice email from Michael about L.I.E., also another one from you. However, nothing from Michael(or yourself), about Screenings!? There are hordes of us out there who are dying to see a screening of NED!

Well, I'm hoping for screenings in your local theater. It's all a matter of finishing. Cash flow has been pretty low, but we are near the end. Once the edit and print are done, well then we are ready. I know it's been a long road, and quite a few of you we'll always know by name, you've stuck with us so long. I will finish. No worries. Thanks for reminding us that people want to see what we finish. I always seem to forget that part. Thanks, man.
