Help!!! Need to find LM Pectin

For years I have used Low Methoxyl pectin... means that I don't have to use sugar or honey if I want... and if I do... then I can add very little... to make jellies and jams

and also for years I ordered it from Walnut Creek Acres in PA.... but they do not carry it anymore..

I used to get it for about $16.99 per pound

If I use Pomona Universal Pectin a pound will be $30.00 per pound

I have done internet searches ... zero...

I used the search engine www.copernic.com and entered the question "Where to buy low methoxyl pectin for jelly and preserves making?" and it gave over 30 hits. a free copy of the engine is available if you want to down load it or you can email me and I will try to forward the list to you (I still have to copy addresses by hand because the control bars on the search page are different than my browsers and have to go to work now. Hope to learn how to E- transfer results this weekend). Hope this is of help.

As usual, www.google.com comes up with answers. One is at http://www.homecanningsupply.com/pages/webcat18.htm (home page of Home Canning Supply & Specialties at http://www.homecanningsupply.com ).

Try Pacificpectin.com. I order my bulk pectin from them and they have the LM pectin.

Dear friends,

Saw your postings below. Need your help to find pectin distributors. We are a USA and China based trading company and are asked by a China pectin producer to represent them in international market (outside of China).

I'm looking for any company who may purchase pectin from China in bulk quantities. The price is only a fraction of what you mentioned below. We do not want to carry inventories and sell retail but rather sell in bulk to pectin distributors worldwide. Hope those distributors can pass the saving to the end users.

Please drop me an email if you can provide any info. Thanks.
