I'm watching this mideast dealie today. I still don't think major world war is on the horizon, but I will have to concede that there are too many possible wild cards to really be accurate in this sort of analysis. It doesn't take much to make everything start to collapse and get out of control. I think the mad jihaders are in control of the situation, and the concept of "cells" is going to win out over the traditional 'talks with leaders". You can't have two generations now indoctrinated into this sort of guerrila warfare and have it not be used extensively.
