In issue 81/1:58 Nancy and Peter Andrew gave an unusual recipe entitled "Extremely Simple Whole Wheat Yeast Bread". Could anyone supply a copy? Would really appreciate. Reply at Hughen@aol.com of postal 949 Hwy 34, Montgomery, LA 71454

I figure I just might as well copy here for others also.

Grind 2 cups wheat berries. Put flour in bowl, add a good spoonful of honey to taste(optional),a pinch of salt(optional), and 2 teaspoons (or 1 packet) of dry yeast. Add enough water to make a very sticky dough, almost a batter. Stir for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour dough into an oiled microwave safe container allowing for room for it to rise. After about 30 minutes, microwave 2-1/2 minutes, turn and cook 2-1/2 minutes more. Turn bread out to cool. Note: you can purchase flour or cook bread on the BBQ in an oiled cast iron skillet. Just cook it slowly so the bottom won't burn.

Boy, someone was reading MY mind! I think that's the one issue I don't have, and heard so many rave reviews about that recipe. It'll be a good one for me to start with. Thanks, TomK. dh in nm
