Hi, Irene.

I really enjoyed your comment on how you and Tom together made up one good person. That's how I feel about my DH. We've done things together for so many years like handling firewood, canning, yardwork, etc., I'm not sure I would know how to do it by myself.

Just a wee tiny comment on the Gladys and Walt post. We have friends who have a 3 mile driveway but it's not all on their property; their mailbox sits at the end of the state road. And hopefully this won't get me kicked out of the human race, but I'm a sucker for the Zelda video games. Got started on them with my grandson and just love them. It's a really good (or bad, depending) way to spend a rainy day with a 10 year old.

Love this forum and feel as if the people here are the family and friends I don't have living close by.

Wishing you enough and thanks for reading.

"Together we make one good person". Irene- what a beautiful sentiment. I feel the same way about my darned old Yuppie Boyfriend, although he is not yet properly trained as a gardener! He is learning though, and loves it so I have hope for him yet! Thanks for sharing it with us.

What a wonderful warm, heartfelt introduction, Irene! I have never had the "good fortune" to find a snake in the nest boxes of my hens, but, that may come yet, as do have a lot of black snakes here, but they prefer the barn rafters. Rather have them than the native copperheads though!
