Indian Runner duck fencing

HI ALL What is the highest fence needed to keep indian runner ducks in. four feet, six feet high ? For I hear they can not fly like my muscovy ducks could fly. THANKS BRIAN

Hi, Brian. They are pretty much regular ducks, that don't need really high fencing (like your Muscovies do). But it's simple enough to keep their wings clipped a little to prevent flying. Just clip one side so they are unbalanced and that should do the trick.

Hi Brian. I have runners, and have fenced 4 ft. high. They are fully feathered snd so far do not fly, but do get about a foot and a half off the ground with a good jump, and vigorious flapping. They have never gotten out.
