For a wide range of topics, news, preparedness, gardening, etc go to www.timebomb2000. org. Also, if you look at the top of the forum list, click on Lusenet, then scroll down the page to Freedom, you will find a forum that some of us who aren't allowed to say we're believers are on.

If you look under lusenet you'll find the links to the CS spinoffs. One is the Freedom, self reliance board which is like CS with a more political leaning. Then there's Beyond the Sidewalks which is comprised of homesteaders which enjoy exploring alternative spiritual and philosophical issues and ideals. There is also a Christian homesteaders forum, but I don't know how to get to that one. I'm sure you could find the link in the archives. Maybe someone else could post it here for you. I hope you find what you're looking for!

Well, "A" Christian homesteading site is http://www.homestead.org/ . I can't speak for the quality of it though - it's a while since I've been through it, but I notice they're actively updating it again, and they used to have some good stuff and a lot of good links.

I agree about the Timebomb2000 Greenspun LUSENET archive - there's a lot of chaff to sift through, but also a lot of people put a lot of valuable information there.
