How do I get rid of June Bugs

I live in the mid Atlantic region, and have a severe problem with JUNE BUGS!!!! Help they are eating my spirrea. Karole

Do you have any chickens or ducks that you could free range where you are having a problem. Maybe some guinea hens would help.

I think the above are right on with ducks. Of course they take raising, chow, protection at night from predators and a bit of love helps,but they are so very cute and fun, not to mention good eggs! :- )

Seems to me I heard of using milky spore on the grubs so they can't mature. Check with your local greenhouse and see if they stock it. Otherwise check your garden catalogues. I think milky spore is also used on Japanese beetles.
