NOT everyone in Manhattan voted for Sen. Hillary Clinton. The former first lady was approaching St. George's Episcopal Church at Stuyvesant Square on Saturday to attend the wedding of Basil Smikle, her director of intergovernmental affairs, to Marjorie Harris, executive director of National Action Network. Suddenly a scruffy fellow called out in a friendly voice, "Hey, Sen. Clinton." Thinking it was an adoring constituent, she gave a queenly wave and replied, "well, hello." But then the wiseacre stepped forward and said, "Senator, remember the pews and hymnals belong to the church. Please leave them behind when the wedding is over." Unflappable Clinton ignored the rude remark.
