[News] Malicious virus hoax says to delete sulfnbk.exe

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unk's Wild Wild West : One Thread

There is a malicious virus hoax making the rounds. The hoax urges the recipient to delete the file called sulfnbk.exe. However, sulfnbk.exe is actually a Microsoft Windows file that Windows needs to convert long filenames. More information (including how to restore sulfnbk.exe from backup) is available at McAfee.
