Need parts for cherry pitter

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I have two cherry pitters. One is a "Norpro" brand and the other is a "Leifheit" brand. They work the same way, using a rod to push the pit from the cherry through a rubber "thingie". Well, I am missing the rubber "thingie" on both pitters adn have been unable to find replacements. Any suggestions on where I can find replacements OR what I can use as a substitute.

Thanks in advance!

Try Lehman's. I got their pitter, and it has a rubber thingy too.

www.lehmans.com or email GetLehmans@aol.com Good luck!

I earlier this month I e-mailed Leifheit and asked for a replacement fo the rubber. It arrived in less than 2 weeks.

Hi Walt,

Thanks for the info. You are better at this than I am cause I've been trying to contact Leifheit for almost a year. Tracked down 2 phone numbers, neither of which worked. I don't know if I just never even thought to look for their email address or if I just didn't look correctly. Could you send it to me?

Many thanks!

Bev
