Can someone tell me the difference between each dip slip fault Normal, Reverse and Thrust?

as was stated in class,if you have a cross section of rock layers, with a fault plane running through them, a normal dip-slip fault is where the block of layers on the top side of the fualt plane moves down....a reverse one is where the block of layers on the top side of the fault moves up...and a thrust fault has the same basic concept as the reverse fualt, but the fault plane isn't as steep and instead is gently inclined.
